Blending Elements in Composite Photography using Inner Glow

I get several questions every week about how I do certain things with my Composite Photography, so today I want to take the opportunity to answer a question I get a lot.

“How do I blend the elements of my Composite Photography?”

In this Photoshop Tutorial, I will show you how I quickly and easily blend the edges of my subject with the background using the Inner Glow option in Photoshop.

While I don’t use this trick on every Composite I create, it works especially well when you have light edges on your subject that are against a dark background.

Using Inner Glow and Outer Glow together creates a really dynamic look.

If there are any Photoshop Tutorials you’d like to see, leave your suggestions in the comments section below and I’ll see what I can do.
