How I Edit Photos for Instagram

One of the quickest ways to build an audience and gain recognition for your Composite Photography is on Instagram, which is why it’s so important to create images that grab people’s attention.

So, today I’m going to show you how I edit photos for Instagram that grab people’s attention.

Now, in all transparency, I’m just now starting to focus on building my audience on Instagram but thought I’d show you the attention we all should be putting on our images as photographers.

Here’s the Before and After of the old gas pump I edit in the video.

While I have excelled at Composite Photography and thanks to people like you, I’ve built a really awesome audience, excelling on Instagram requires a much different approach.

So, over the coming months I’m focusing more and more on Instagram and creating images to specifically build my Instagram audience.

I hope you join me in my Instagram journey.

That’s a Wrap

Building your audience isn’t easy and can’t be expected by simply uploading photos onto Instagram without any thought at all.

As photographers, we’re competing with all the iPhone photo apps and Instagram filters that can quickly and easily make anyone’s photo look great.

It’s up to use to go one step further and put some effort into what we post on Instagram.

Which do you like better for editing your photos for Instagram? Lightroom or Photoshop?
