5 Composite Photographers who Inspire Me
As a Rockwall, TX Photographer specializing in Composite Photography, I find inspiration from things like old painters, sculptors, from television, magazines, animated movies, and especially from other Composite Photographers.
So, today I’d like to share the 5 Composite Photographers who Inspire Me…
In my opinion, endlessly sitting in front of YouTube watching Photoshop tutorials on how to master Compositing skills isn’t inspiring, and I frequently find myself faced with a Creative Block.
Here’s been my experience in the 4 short months of becoming a Composite Photographer.
The first few months were spent consuming every FREE Photoshop Tutorial I could find on Compositing and photo manipulation, which resulted in me spending the next few months working and overworking my photography in Photoshop.
With each Composite I created, I grew in my understanding of the various elements of Compositing, and I’ve learned that the real ART of Composite Photography is CONTROLLING the medium.
As I’ve grown in my Compositing skills, and I’ll be the first to admit I have a lot more growing to do, I’ve found myself transitioning my attention from the technical application of Compositing to the creative elements of a dynamic Composite.
Great Composite Photography requires great technique and great vision.
The Composite Photographers I highlight in my video have all developed amazing Composites because they have managed to marry great technique with a great vision.
