Using Opacity to Blend Elements in Photoshop

My recent Photo Compositing piece called “The Texas Dream” has sparked a lot of questions, and today I’m going to answer the one I’ve gotten the most.

“How do you blend everything together to look so natural?”

So, this Photoshop Video Tutorial will be one of several I create to show you some of the different techniques I use to blend the elements of my Composite Photography.

While I have several techniques and tricks I use to create a realistic blend between the different elements, today I’m going to specifically focus on the first trick I use, which is using the Opacity to blend the elements in Photoshop.

So, let’s stop chit-chatting and push play already.

As I mentioned in the video, I did not come up with this trick myself and only learned it from a British Photographer I follow on YouTube.

I believe it’s important to give credit where credit is due.

I learned this trick from Glyn Dewis, who has many great YouTube videos on different things that can really help you become a better Photoshop artist, retoucher, manipulator, or whatever you want to call yourself.
