The Photillustrator Approval Session
Your Photillustration is now in the sketch phase of it’s creation, and I’m the the process of incorporating everything I learned during our Discovery Session.
This page is to answer some of the most common questions I’ve received regarding The Photillustrator Approval Session.

On to the questions…
What will we be doing at the Approval Session?
Like the Discovery Session, each Approval Session is a little different and unique to your custom Photillustration.
Here’s a quick list to give you an idea:
- You will approve your Photillustration concept.
- We will discus details of your Photillustration.
- We will confirm the size of your Photillustration.
- We will discuss what props we’ll need for the Photo Session.
- We will discuss clothing for your Photo Session.
- I will answer any questions you have up to this point.
Your Creative Session is where we finalize the concept, and pull together all the details necessary to make a great portrait.
Will I be making a Payment at my Approval Session?
Yes! Based on where you want to hang your Photillustration in your home, and the size we discussed, you will be making a 50% down payment on your custom portrait.
I will come with two (2) invoices, one for the size we discussed, and another for an alternative size you may consider.
How long will my Approval Session take?
Plan on setting aside approximately 20 to 30 minutes for your Approval Session, so we can tie up all the loose ends and get ready for your Photo Session.
Why do I have to pay before I see my Photillustration?
Creating your custom Photillustration requires a large investment of time, energy, and printing costs, and because Photillustrator is a for profit business, a 50% down payment is required for us to move forward.
What if I don’t like the sketch you present?
That’s ok, and I want you to be honest about whether you like the concept or not.
You’re investing a lot in your custom portrait, and I want you to be 100% happy with the Photillustration you have on your wall, so if you have any reservations about the concept, now is the time for us to work it out.
My purpose with Photillustrator is to make people Happy, and I want you to be excited and Happy about the Photillustration you receive.
I trust you, so can we skip the Approval Session?
Thank you for trusting my creative input, but your Photillustration is far too important to leave the final concept design all up to me.
At the very least, we must meet for the Approval Session so you can approve the final concept of your Photillustration.
