Removing Lens Glare from Eyeglasses using Photoshop

If you’ve ever photographed anyone wearing eyeglasses, you know how frustrating it can be to eliminate the light glare from their glasses.

This is especially true with the way I light for my Composite Photography.

During a recent job I did for the guys at SyncLab Media, I ran into the problem of light reflections in the glasses, which presented me with the opportunity to figure out a way to remove them without looking like they were ever there.

In this Photoshop Tutorial, I will show you the exact process I used to remove the glare from the eyeglasses, and explain why I think it’s a better solution than the clone stamp tool, or painting out the glare.

The key to making this process as simple as possible is to avoid the glare or reflection, from overlaying the eye itself.

This will create a great deal more work and makes it more difficult to pull off.
